Gîtes in Vendée is situated in the attractive coastal village of La Chaize Giraud, in the North of
Vendée between Les Sables
d'Olonne and St Gilles-Croix de Vie.
The village is 5km from the
seaside town of Brétignolles sur mer, 10 minutes from the fishing port of St
Gilles (to the North) and 20 minutes from the beach resort of Les Sables d'Olonne
(to the South).
Some
of the best beaches in the Vendée are only minutes away by
car and in cycling distance.
How
to get here? It
is easy by plane or by car. By plane, Ryanair fly into Nantes
from the UK 3 or 4 times/ week. You can hire a car at the
airport and we are about 1 hr's drive away. You can park
onsite close to your gite. Or,
you can drive from the UK. About
50% of our guests traveling from the UK decide to fly to
Nantes and hire a car. The remaining 50% drive from the UK.
Ifyou drive from the UK, we recommend a night crossing with a
cabin, but the choice is yours.
