Dolphin
Gîtes is a charming gîte complex, situated in the delightful
coastal village of La Chaize-Giraud, only 5 minutes from the
attractive seaside town of Brétignolles-sur-mer, in the North
of Vendee. The beach is only a 5 minute drive in the car or 15
minutes by bicycle. If you prefer, you can spend the day
relaxing beside the swimming pool.
On
site, there is a heated swimming pool, table tennis, children's
play area, and large lawns ideal for all types of ball games. Children
over the age of 12 are allowed to camp in the garden by
special request.

The
accommodation is comprised of 6 charming holiday cottages (gites)
all contained within the same delightful grounds, situated
within the shadow of a beautiful 12th. century church. The grounds
include a medieval walled garden built by the Monks,
landscaped lawns and borders, an orchard and a heated swimming
pool with views over the Jaunay valley.
You
can choose from 6 gites all of a different character catering
for different requirements. Our largest gite (country house) can accommodate up to 8 people and is ideal for a
large family or two families sharing. Our smallest gite has
just one bedroom and is ideal for a couple or a small family.
The remaining 4 gites will accommodate families of 5 or 6
people. All our gites are well maintained, comfortable and well
equipped (please read specifications for each gite).
Vendée
is one of the sunniest regions of France with an average of 200 days of sunshine a year,
which means that you can expect a hot and sunny holiday from
June to September. It is often said that the Vendee
offers the best climate in practical driving distance from the UK!
(only 3 hours from St Malo).
Our
gites are ideal for children, with large enclosed gardens, fenced
swimming pool, table tennis, bikes for hire, swings and, most
importantly, other children on-site for your children to play with. The owners have 3
children.
