GCSE French Revision in Vendée

This course is perfect for anyone studying GCSE French in need of focused revision of  both the written and oral elements of the specification. GCSE students of any age are welcome to attend the course and accommodation can be provided for individuals and families.

The course fee includes:

• Weekend or 3 day course option.

• Experienced bilingual French teacher (GCSE examiner).

• Airport collection (to and from Nantes Atlantique)

• 10 or 15 hours' intensive tuition

• 3 or 4 nights accommodation

• Breakfast, lunch, coffee, refreshments and wine in the evening.

During the course, you will have the opportunity to revise your oral pronunciation, general vocabulary, oral and written comprehension, tenses and grammar. You will also have the opportunity to practise your language skills with a native French speaker in a unique one-to-one situation (see below).

Your tutor, Catherine, has taught GCSE French in the UK, having worked as a full-time French teacher at Birkdale High School for 9 years. Cathy has also worked as a French GCSE examiner for the AQA examining board for 7 years, marking papers for the current French GCSE specification.

All our French courses are delivered over 2 or 3 days (10 or 15 hours). Please ensure that you have requested either the 2 or 3 day option when completing the booking form.

Teenage Students

Parents are very welcome to accompany teenage students and family accommodation can be provided. Teenagers travelling independently are supervised from the airport at arrival, throughout the course, until their return to the airport.

One-to-One with a Native French Speaker

During the GCSE revision course, you will have the opportunity of a one-to-one with a native French speaker with no English ability. The experience will allow you to really practise your French conversation in a real situation. 

English teenage students are always paired with a French teenager and the conversation is very informal and often continues over lunch. Also, in the evening, we often arrange for French teenagers to come to the restaurant and join you for the meal, to encourage even more French conversation.
